Featured Insights RESEARCH BRIEF Xenotransplantation: A Kidney Transplant Research Possibility Breakthroughs in xenotransplantation offer great promise for addressing the critical organ donor shortage, particularly for those living with kidney failure. In collaboration with the American Society of Nephrology, AIR health experts conducted interviews with kidney patients, care partners, and doctors to gauge awareness and perceptions of xenotransplantation as a treatment option.
